Sophie Smith of City of Leicester Swimming Club has competed this week for Great Britain at the LEN European Junior Championships in Helsinki.

Sophie competed in the Womens 400m Ind.medley claiming the first gold medal of the championships and the first gold for Great Britain. Sophie was also part of the 4x100m Freestyle and 4x200m Freestyle team which claimed two silver medals. On the final day Sophie crowned a successful championships by claiming her second Gold medal and British Record in the 200m Ind.medley.
