Tsubasa Breaks Fosters British Junior Record
28 Apr 2008 11:39

Tsubasa Nakagawa and Alex Dawson (Coach)

On Saturday 26th April at Braunstone Leisure Centre, Leicestershire, Tsubasa Nakagawa of City of Leicester and Knighton Fields SC broke the British Junior Record for 50m Freestyle set by the five times olympian and silver world medalist Mark Foster in 1986. The Record stood at 23.41 and Tsubasa clocked 23.39 (subject to ratification).

This time is also a new East Midland Regional Record which Tsubasa has now lowered three times over the past month. Tsubasa can also claim an East Midlands Record in the 100m Freestyle with a time of 52.15

A massive congratulations to Tsubasa and his coach at the City of Leicester, Alex Dawson.
